What is ReefFlow?
ReefFlow is an app for marine aquarium and reef tank hobbyists. It centralizes water parameter tracking, maintenance reminders, dosing, aquarium journal, coral, fish and equipment catalog, plus an AI assistant (ReefMind) that reviews your parameters and suggests adjustments.
Is ReefFlow free?
The download is free, and the free plan covers 1 aquarium with ads. A $1.99 plan removes ads. Higher tiers unlock multiple aquariums and advanced features.
Which platforms is ReefFlow available on?
iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play). The app supports English, Portuguese and Spanish.
Features
Does ReefFlow work for marine and reef tanks?
Yes. ReefFlow is built specifically for marine and reef tanks (FOWLR, mixed, soft, LPS and SPS). All parameters, dosing, species and equipment data target saltwater systems.
Which water parameters can I track?
14 parameters in total: salinity, alkalinity (KH/dKH), calcium, magnesium, nitrate (NO3), phosphate (PO4), pH, temperature, ORP and others, including custom parameters. With trend graphs, target ranges and AI commentary.
Does ReefFlow have a coral and fish catalog?
Yes. Reefpedia covers corals (LPS, SPS, soft, zoanthids), marine fish and invertebrates, with care requirements, compatibility, lighting and flow recommendations.
Can I plan a new reef tank with ReefFlow?
Yes. The Aquarium Planner is a step-by-step wizard covering dimensions, equipment, aquascape, livestock, budget and maturation timeline.
Are the calculators free?
Yes. Salt mix, alkalinity adjustment, calcium/magnesium dosing, water change volume and refractometer correction calculators are available in-app and at reefflow.com.br/en/calculators.
Hardware and integrations
Does ReefFlow integrate with hardware?
Partner integrations are rolling out. The AquaWiz KH Controller Gen 4 is currently being integrated, with more partners on the roadmap.
How does ReefFlow compare to other aquarium apps?
ReefFlow combines parameters, maintenance, journal, species and equipment catalog, calculators, planner and AI in a single app focused on marine aquariums. Most competing apps only cover one slice (e.g. only parameters, or only catalog).
